BIO
Anna Lisa Naig was born in a small tight-knit town in rural Nevada. The connections to the various members of her community had a great impact on her life. At the heart of Naig’s work is her humanist nature. Her prior work focused on representational renderings with the goal of forging connections with viewers. As she continued to explore more about herself as an entity codependent on all of humanity and nature this attempt to connect with others began to be pushed conceptually through the use of abstracted archetypal and mythical figures. Naig currently lives in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
